Building your dream home is exciting but a lot to handle. Don’t worry! we will guide you through each step to make sure the process goes as smoothly as possible. Before we break ground, there are a few things that need to happen.
Finding A Lot
Shiloh Homes are built on land you own unless you are purchasing a spec home. So, if you do not already own a lot, we will need to find a lot that works for you. Luckily for you, our co-owner Mandy Shipp is a realtor and can help you find the perfect lot for you. 2. Lot Preparation
Depending on the lot you choose you may need septic installed, well water installation, city water hook up, septic hook up, tree clearing and ground leveling but we’ll guide you every step of the way. All these factors are something to consider when selecting the perfect lot and Mandy Shipp can guide you on how much money may need to go into a potential lot. Shiloh Homes will handle all permitting and contract out quality companies for the lot needs before building can begin.
3. Picking a Floor Plan
Shiloh Homes has access to hundreds of floor plans for any size lot. After helping you decide square footage and the must haves of your dream home, we will narrow down floor plans based on your lot size, price point, style, and needs. If we cannot help you to decide on the perfect plan, we can have our architect make the necessary adjustments so that you have a perfectly tailored home to your needs.
